New Clozd Workflows Features
Clozd's new Workflows features automate and streamline win-loss analysis by managing buyer outreach, tracking participant status, and facilitating sales collaboration, and now include Internal Feedback Workflows to efficiently gather crucial insights from internal teams like sales and customer success, reducing manual effort and improving feedback collection and program scalability.
Getting buyer feedback is hard—Workflows makes it easier
If you’ve ever tried to run a win-loss program on your own, you know how tough it can be.
Reaching out to buyers. Tracking down the right contacts. Getting approvals from sales. Following up when no one responds. Keeping tabs on everything across hundreds of closed deals.
It’s slow, manual, and resource-heavy—and it takes your focus away from the real point: understanding why you win and lose, so you can make smarter decisions.
That’s why we built Workflows
To solve the logistical headache of win-loss analysis, we introduced Workflows: an automation engine inside the Clozd Platform that streamlines the most time-consuming parts of your feedback process.
Instead of juggling spreadsheets and chasing approvals, Workflows handles the heavy lifting—so your team can scale their program without scaling effort.
With Workflows, you get:
- Automated outreach based on deal filters you control
- Real-time visibility into the status of every participant
- Simplified collaboration with sales through our Contributor Portal
- Fewer bottlenecks, faster results, and higher completion rates
Since launch, it’s helped leading companies run cleaner, more efficient programs—and uncover more insights with less lift.
Now Workflows is even smarter
We’ve rolled out three big upgrades to Workflows—all designed to solve real-world roadblocks we’ve seen across win-loss programs. Each one makes it easier to collect more feedback, move faster, and get better results.
Internal Feedback Workflows
Until now, Workflows has been all about buyer outreach. But there's a crucial perspective that's often missing: your internal teams. Sales reps, solutions consultants, and customer success managers have firsthand insight into what happened in a deal—but collecting that feedback has traditionally meant chasing people down over email or Slack, deal by deal.
With Internal Feedback Workflows, that’s no longer the case. Now you can automatically route deals to internal stakeholders using the same powerful workflow engine. Reps get one clean email that links to a portal where they can see all the deals they need to weigh in on. No clutter, no confusion, no follow-up chaos. You finally get both sides of the story—buyer and seller—in one streamlined process.
Automated Approvals
Approvals can be a real momentum killer. You’ve got everything set up—buyer info is ready, the timing’s perfect—and then the request just … sits in someone’s inbox. It might take days. Sometimes it never gets approved at all. Meanwhile, the clock on capturing post-deal feedback is ticking.
Now, with Automated Approvals, you can make sure that doesn’t happen. Just set a time limit for how long a deal can stay in “Needs Approval,” and if there’s no action by then, Clozd will automatically move it forward. You stay in control of the rules, and your workflows stay on track. It’s one of those simple changes that can make a huge impact—especially for programs trying to scale without sacrificing speed.
Workflow Analytics
Once your program is in motion, the next challenge is figuring out what’s actually working—and where deals or participants are falling through the cracks. Without visibility, it's easy to assume everything’s fine when in reality, valuable feedback might be slipping away.
That’s why we introduced Workflow Analytics. It gives you a real-time, visual-funnel view of how deals are progressing through your outreach process. You’ll see conversion rates at every step, where drop-off is happening, and even get recommendations on how to improve. It’s the kind of insight that helps you shift from reactive to proactive—so you can continuously improve your program and show measurable progress.
More feedback, less effort, real insights
At Clozd, we believe that win-loss programs should be strategic—not stressful. Workflows help make that a reality by automating the admin work and surfacing the insights that drive change.
Whether you're just starting out or looking to scale your impact, Workflows gives your team the foundation to build a smarter, more effective win-loss program.

Why Real Win-Loss Analysis Starts After the Deal
The article explains that while conversation intelligence tools capture sales interactions, they fail to reveal the true reasons behind deal outcomes because buyers withhold candid feedback during live calls, making post-decision interviews by neutral third parties essential to uncover genuine buyer motivations and, when combined with live sales data, enable revenue leaders to create a comprehensive, actionable understanding of the B2B buyer journey.
